Proround M
Proround M is an aluminium or stainless steel profile which acts as a joint between floor and wall covering. The technical description is “hygienic corner profile” on account of the characteristic convex shape, and it was designed in line with the new EU health and hygiene guidelines. The design removes the 90° angle to prevent dirt - a source of bacteria - from building up, creating a curved surface that makes daily cleaning easier and more efficient. The stainless steel version is recommended for locations in which hygiene is important, such as hospitals, industrial kitchens, food manufacturers, and so forth. Specifically, AISI 316 DIN 1.4404 stainless steel is recommended for environments subject to greater chemical stress and in coastal areas. The Proround M range also includes GINI/, a hygienic perimeter joint with a rubber insert able to absorb expansion and contraction movements.
